You can order a gilet in your desired colour, zip option and length and as it is made to order please allow 1-2 weeks for your gilet to be produced and sent. You can confirm colour in the message section in the checkout or if this is custom we can discuss this. V-neck style with button fastening is now available too!
Colours currently available: any beanie colour but if you would like to order a custom colour or twist, please email jo-ami@outlook.com and we can knit up custom design options for you.
It is knitted on our chunky hand powered knitting machine in our studio in Dundee by creative director Jolene Guthrie. It is the perfect transitional piece that you can layer up or down. It is made out of chunky 100% Lambswool, which is spun and dyed in Scotland.
The Ami gilet style can be ordered in regular length or cropped and with a zip fastening or no zip. The zip stops before the neck collar and so you can wear the collar up or down. The cropped style is perfect for sitting just above your waistline or the regular length gives you more coverage.
Here are the measurements for the regular and cropped sizing, but custom measurements can be taken:
Regular - Length: 60cm Shoulders: 44cm Bust: 54cm
Cropped - Length: 48cm Shoulders: 42cm Bust: 52cm
Cropped v-neck - Length 54.5cm Shoulders: 44cm
